Funny story #1: Driving the bus from 9-1am on Sunday night. Song Imagine by Lennon comes on my CD player, old guy on the bus says something like "I bet the guys in Iraq like this song." He then proceeds to go into a political discussion. He was clearly either looking for an argument or someone to rant to. I let him rant, it was pretty entertaining.

Funny story #2: After work that night, I crashed my moms explorer into a light pole hardcore style. The engine even died. Dont ask how it happened. Waited in the 20 degree weather for 30 min while I arranged for AAA to send a tow truck. Went to a nearby hospital so I didnt die of hypothermia. Waited over 2 hours for a tow truck, it turns out the guy cant tow it. They towed it this morning though.

I bet they do like that song in Iraq....

I figure I'm the only one that likes Arrested Development, but I'll ask anyway, anyone catch the 2 hour season (and probably series) finale? GOB did a religious magic show in Iraq and during his "burning bush" illusion he was arrested for what appeared to be an anti-American demonstration. Hilarious!!

Nope, it was a side impact, apparently it starts now, they think it was some sort of mechanism that prevents it from starting after an accident.

The question is: Did you take out the light pole?

Also I dont think my parents have done taxes yet but I dont get any money from the goverement so it is kind of pointless. Thought I did get a big check last year and I am hoping for a bigger one.

I'm considering moving the website to a new web host, as today they somehow fucked up their php binary and rendered the majority of the site useless, it seems like the site doesn't work too frequently and if I had a more reliable internet connection I could probably do a better job myself. At any rate, vinylband.com expires tomorrow so maybe I'll try to get that. I found a new host that appears to be cheaper and offers more storage and bandwidth so I might go with that. There could possibly be a delay of a day or 2 but I'll let you know closer to the time this happens if I do it, which I probably will.

Do whatev you want G. You're the man.

On a side note, I just transcribed "Is An Elegy." Next will probably be "Brooklyn" but we'll see how hard it is. Obviously I won't be able to transcribe the tuba solo as it is fucking insanity.

By the by, it took almost 20 minutes to write out the lyrics to Elegy. That song is fucking long as far as rap goes. And when I did this, it wasn't listening and writing, it was look at them already written (but unable to be stolen since it's in a flash site) and copying them down.

I'd be all for covering that, as its an original arrangement.

In other news, I'm just kidding I got nothing.

What does the Trombone part look like though if one had a bass Trombone they could do the tuba part though it is probably impossible to do on BT.

I'd be down for it as well. Only real hard part would be the ending drum part. Maybe we should have some extra percussion on stage to help Kevin out (seeing as how Youngblood has 3 drummers anyway).

And Wade, I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, but I'm gonna say, it doesn't matter what instrument you try to play the solos on, no one can match that godliness of the Warrior.

Well you are suppose to be able tuba parts on bass trombone though the complexity is the hard part. I just want to see what the written out stuff for songs looked like because they sound fun and rather hard.

As for parts, I say Dan covering the high stuff on guitar, Grant on bass for tuba, Kevin doing the usual, David keys to help fill out the harmonies and probably rap (unless someone else really wants to do it), I'll bust out the tenor for this one or trumpet depending on how well I can play by May, and maybe get Wade and/or Sammy too.
