Urgent: Grant, talk to ?Mindee? about getting us a show at CCC in early July if possible, and if possible a show with Rebels playing also. I would prefer doing that to booking a legion hall like they want. Also, an early-mid August show would be cool too (also, I dont know how much booking power she has), I want to play at least 3 more shows by the end of the summer (July 9 is already booked). In addition, see if you can get us an early July date to play at Chestermans if that is even still possible. If not early July, then think early to mid August. Basically keep in mind that I can only do shows on the 14th or earlier, and will only be back like 3 days before Ragbrai. That would be cool if we could do those covers we are planning on.

Also: sadly, it appears as if Vinyl has been removed from Wikipedia, apparently we weren't important enough to have a link on the disambiguation page.

Bonfire

Maybe Jayson's new land, maybe out on Kevin's farm, maybe Kevin's lake house, maybe someplace else

Mainly a cookout with a bonfire, but Vinyl will play

Acoustic? Generators?

These are just ideas populating my head since i woke up.

In any event, I think we need to do an acoustic someplace at some point. Maybe wait until we are in school and do one in Iowa City (sorry Kev, but unless you wanna play with your fingers as drum sticks, it'd probably be more trouble to move all the drums for something that small than it's worth).

I sent an E-Mail to CCC, I have no interest in playing an acoustic set, but will do it if anyone else wants to.

I have a huge empty building with a little house attatched so I think we would have to have a show here. Maybe charge a few dollars to enter? I can do it on my birthday for sure or possibly the 14th if I don't have to work the next day.

God damn. This creepy, smelly guy keeps coming into the store when I'm working, and he's always looking for books that pretty much don't exist anymore, and for good reason - [b:safz7q1p]NO ONE FUCKING LIKED THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE CRAP![/b:safz7q1p]
It wouldn't be so bad if he was easy to work with, but he acts like because I can operate a computer (something he can't, in fact, he said he did shitty in school and it shows since he's probably working manual labor - hence the smell) that I have all the answers and graduated from Harvard with a PhD in everything. I'm pretty sure he has to be mentally challenged. If not, well, he's just a god damn asshole.

And what the fuck is up with this next guy that comes in?! He has me look up all these fucked up books and order them for him. I'm pretty sure he intends to kill someone with the knowledge he will gain from these books.... Jesus, I can't wait until I'm done working here. Wierdest fucking people ever... God damnit, employees don't have to put up with this shit at B&N.

So I look out the window at my truck at 3:00 AM. I looked very shiney. Then, I thought "I live on a dirt road, my truck can't be shiney." Sure enough, it wasn't. Someone had wrapped my vehicle like a leftover. Revenge? Oh yes, it's coming...
