I really like it, and it would be a suggested buy. Let me know what you think.

I preordered from amazon, don't think it shipped yet though.

I bought it on Zune Marketplace......it shipped in about 60 seconds. I think its alright, Ill need to listen to it a few times before I can make a full review though. It took me a few weeks to warm up to Black Holes and Revelations.

Also Weezer has a new album coming out next month, and at the end of this month Alice in Chains is coming out with a new one as well, but I think Im probably the only one interest in that one.

I'm pretty much done with Weezer, but I'll probably get the new Alice in Chains, I have them as a favorite artist on my Sirius and turns out they play them a lot.
Fuck you and your zune dan. :D

To Dan: Joe Pray has made me pretty much hate Weezer more than I ever could. He's a cool kid most of the time, but god damn.
To All: I shall pirate the Muse album and maybe the Alice one if I remember to check at the end of the month.

As a "Muse" album, I don't really like it. Unfortunately, I am one of those people that gets a certain sound in my head and that's kind of how I feel a band should sound. Not to say that they can't change their sound, but the original sound is the one I feel they do the best. There are always exceptions - like Cursive - but Muse isn't to me. Yes, their sound has been evolving ever since Showbiz and I would be lying if I said I didn't see this style coming.
That being said, if I think of this as a new band album and not a Muse album - it's fucking great. In the end though, Absolution and Origin of Symmetry are still, and always will be, my favourite Muse albums.

Yeah Joe is a bit crazy about Weezer, but Ill probably buy the album if it gets favorable reviews....the first single is pretty good.....but then again I liked Pork and Beans from the last album and the album itself is pretty average. As for the Muse album, I think it is somewhat similar in style to Black Holes and Revelations, but its a bit too much like a piece of classical music. I also have certain sounds in my head that I feel a band should sound like but usually that is meshed with their new sound, if that makes any sense.

Yeah it makes sense. And yeah I didn't enjoy Blackholes as a whole - just certain songs. Although unlike you, I like all the piano cadenzas on this new one. I think I'm the only one of us who even regularly listens to classical though.

When I bought black holes, I got a DVD with it, and this whole concert is on it. It is actually a pretty sweet concert altogether,so if anyone wants to see it when they are in Sioux City let me know.
