Ragbrai is kind of pricey, and we need to do a bit of paperwork to get in this thing. info

What should our team name be? I (or anyone) can create a group, then if anyone in that group wins the entrance lottery everyone in the group goes, as I understand it anyway. Also who all is going on this great bike ride across Iowa?

Yeah that would look great on a shirt or Crusaders for Bush at any rate they recommend you do at least 600 miles of training before attempting the ride so get to work everyone.

Dude, we'll train together. I'm starting this weekend if the weather permitts. I do about 5 miles in one run, no breaks, no water (at least when I get used to it).

I can be bus driver, although I'd kinda want to ride also. Geez, I had no idea that ragbrai was so complicated with fees and registration and all that stuff, I always thought you could just join in if you felt like it. Also, who knows if they will even allow us to take a bus.

You can just join in, but you don't get any of the benefits that the other riders get when they have their little armband thing. Like, if you fall way behind, there is a bus that picks people up. But without the armband (as a registered rider) they can't/won't let you ride on the bus.

to cars, you can easily get in with a uni, bi, or even a tricycle, but not a motorcycle

First of all, we don't go IN Stone Park. We just ride to it (a little over 5 miles on my route from home to there and back). Second, why the hell would I run? Third, it will have to be Sunday because I still have to get my bike back from Grinnell (which I will do Saturday).
