I must say, Im impressed also. Im thinking of adding something to the solo, its not exactly spectacular. Eric, if you have any suggestions they are welcome. This song sounds pretty good....I could needs a bit of work, maybe you could work on that next, but I think some vocals might need re-recording on that song, Ill have to listen to it again.

Just the verses, the chorus sounds sweet. What effect did you use on the vocals? It fits perfectly. The thing I noticed about the vocals are the "where"s in the second chorus are really random and out of place.

Lmao.....that was basically a joke by Grant and I...Grant just said "where?" once in response to the lyrics while David was singing, then we did it in front of David, then we thought we should add it to see what it sounds like, then it was just hillariously stupid, its not actually supposed to be in the song, so that can be muted as well.

yeah it takes a little more than 3 minutes to record all those vocals so dan and I got a little bored

The initial bass and guitar tracks are all with the drums in one track. But yeah, if we had enough time (back when we started) and enough mics I would have suggested being individual tracks. The effect was just some random chorus effect I picked out of the standard list in Adobe. Labeled "5 Voices (Pro)" (as opposed to not pro - fuck amatuers, muahahahah!). We're keeping Dan's "where" as a bonus track, this I command!

But really, most of the credit goes to Grant. He did all the recording and multitrack aligning. All I did was add effects, etc. Let me make a homosexual comparison for you: Grant built the house, I did the interior decorating.

And yes, I want to work on all the stuff we record. Like I said, I like doing this.

Eric i believe you mentioned a mixer for Christmas, you should look into one of the alesis digital mixers here That's the most luxurious one but they do make other models with fewer channels.

I'll probably try to hit up something like that next year. This year I asked for a bunch of mics and stuff too so I doubt my parents want to get me that. Maybe next summer if I make some sweet bank.

Ok, so I have the Jefferson Community Center for December 23rd. Bands will be Vinyl, Scotopic Shift, Stasis, Officially Terminated. Maybe Speedkill and/or Diggler and/or Splenetic. Best part about it.....the lady gave it to us for free!

say what???????????????????????????

We should talk to Creative about renting a PA (public address) so we don't have to use Chuck. I can do that if you want??!>>!??!

between Dan and I we've spent enough money there that they should give us the PA free

also, what was that battle of the bands a fund raiser for? I'm thinking it was soup kitchen, at any rate our newspaper ad would say " Flood Music Hates people who are starving" or whatever the charity was.

FOOKIN SWEET. Was the lady smoking or something? Jesus. And yes, we'll have to do something about a PA and avoid the only available asshole-tech.

I wonder if we should maybe get Charles cause he could probably do it better than us even if he is a dick. I dont think he charges much either. Would anyone run the sound if we got it from Creative? Also, yes it was the Soup Kitchen so that what the ad will say.

Ok, working title for the album is "I guess it just seems that Im obsessed"....Any objections or suggestions? Also, suggestions on song order too please. As for the show, its looking like Speedkill, Stasis, Officially Terminated, Scotopic Shift, Diggler, Us, and Splenetic. 7 bands is a bit much I think, so set times will be a bit limited. Im working on getting a guy named Bob to do sound, Charles is booked.

I will kill someone if this doesn't happen at some point. We cannot forget the best title of all time. Even if it's just a song title, it's gotta happen.

I agree. David and I are working on a new song to do for the 23rd. Hopefully we'll have it done before we get back.

My suggestions - Landing/Widowmaker/Disintegration/Barriers

Depends on the show too. Probably not Barriers for the 23rd since there won't be enough time to learn it unless you guys actually try (and we know that won't happen).
